History

Located in St. Paul, Minnesota, CCI Properties has been in the business of restoring and renovating buildings and homes in the Twin Cities since 1985. 

Central to our work is an appreciation for historical preservation and context.  We seek to recognize a building’s significance by exploring the era in which it was built, researching historic events and figures of its past, and knowing the surrounding neighborhood. 

Founder and owner, Ed Conley got his start in the business by rehabbing a historic home on a loan from a credit card - and it grew from there!  CCI now owns a variety of historic properties, both commercial and residential, and each have been artfully restored.  All of Ed’s restoration projects start the same way - a deep dive in to the history of the building and the era in which it was built.  From there, Ed let’s the history guide the restoration process in order to preserve and honor our city’s history.

When describing the clients of CCI, Marianne says “they are like gold to us.”  Talk to any of the folks that have worked with Marianne, and they will agree!  Marianne is Ed’s fraternal twin sister, she manages all of the CCI properties and is in charge of…well…everything else.  She works tirelessly to keep our properties in superior condition while ensuring that each of our tenants has the best rental experience imaginable.
